And this is why you can't rely on rookie pitchers during a postseason race

wow, way to jump off the bandwagon so quickly

I was never on the Volstad bandwagon. Yeah, he's good, but he's going to get rocked a few times this year.

you seemed pretty excited...like an inning ago.

And I'm not mad either. I expect him to have his ups and downs. It may not come this inning, but its going to come in some game or another.

Awesome job Chris... showed some real poise there.

Well, only 1 run.

That shouldn't decide this game. Lets score some runs now, PLEASE. :pray

Yep. I agree with you.

Great job getting out of that inning. If that was hendrickson, i would have left without paying mcuh attention to this game.

Hmm, Volstad's first bad inning.

I would'nt call this a bad inning. Nice job by him getting out of the jam.

At the time there were bases loaded with no outs. Good way to get out of that jam with minimum damage.

of course he will, but u cannot say that a rookie can't do good in the postseason, there have been plenty of rookies who have done good in the postseason

ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a typical 2008 braves inning. bases loaded, no outs and not much work getting done.

Eh, they got a run. Run expectancy is a 2.4, but 1 isn't nothing, especially with your 8 and 9 guys batting.

The umpire gets Willingham to fly out to CF.

:bases_empty 1 out. Uggla up.

It's not impossible, but you really shouldn't count on it...oh my god, I just had Rick Ankiel flash before my eyes.
