Comparing Jorge Julio to a guy like Rhodes who continues to get jobs with teams, strictly for what the Marlins want him to do (get lefties like Chase Utley and Ryan Howard out).

 

Getting Arthur Rhodes would help us b/c there are a lot of tough left-handed hitters in our division, and Pinto has been overused.

Is it just me, or do teams seem to lie down to the Yankees and give them what they want? I mean, really, the Yankees aren't exactly rich on the farm, and they managed to acquire Nady and Marte for very little. And now they acquire Pudge for very little as well. Very poor trade for Detroit. Unless Detroit is trying to hand the keys to the Yankees, I don't understand what they are doing. Farnsworth? Seriously?
