Best Owner In Marlins History

Featured Replies

None of the above?

Huizenga (and Smiley) made the Marlins a financial sinkhole

Henry salted a ground full of possibilities

Loria has been the laughingstock of the league

I guess it'd be Loria, then Henry and Huizenga if only for the actual harm they caused the franchise

This is like voting between taking it in the butt, your mouth or the butt again.

That said to this point I have to go with Loria, he's the only one who hasn't basically left the franchise for dead (yet).

I say just don't vote, we have yet to have a good owner, why give one of them the satisfaction of being voted as the best Owner in Marlins history?

Second that. I think the poll should be renamed "most tolerable" owner.

Seriously?

That said, I am going with Loria.

1 ring, gave his team a chance to win 2 more with the same team, even adding a high priced FA in 2005.

they all suck balls. why can't mark cuban they our team instead of the cubs.

why? so we can go to the world series to lose....and then go to the playoffs every year and get owned in the first round?

If anyone should buy the Marlins it should be Micky Arison. He's a local guy that owns the Heat and has more money than Mark Cuban.

anyone's better than our current cheapass owner. not to mention the heat are going to have a good young team with wade and beasley just like the marlins have a good young core of players.

A prerequisite to this poll should be that the team has had, at some point, a good owner in it's history, something the Marlins have never had. All three are disingenuous, all three have refused to put the best product on the field that the team finances allowed, and all three have demanded that a stadium be handed to them-or renovations, which was granted to Wayne-without putting up much-if any-of the price of a facility themselves.
