September 10, 200818 yr I've always found that rule kinda dumb, because for a starter, it takes one pitch to lose a game, but 5 innings to win one. And a reliever can throw an AB and get a win.

September 10, 200818 yr Gregg and Rhodes did a phenominal job tonight. Gregg stopped the momentum in the 7th and Aurthur Rhodes got the lefties out. Good managing by Fredi tonight although I question bringing in De La Cruz for two innings. However, I am thrilled that we won! Go Marlins! Oh yeah cheap save for Lindstrom but he is 2 for 2 now that's cool.

The Marlins won. :thumbup In a case like this, where the starter leaves early and the lead doesn't change, its up to the scorers discretion. I'm with you though, just glad to see the boys play well so it will increase their trade value when they are all dealt.
September 10, 200818 yr de la cruz sucks (7.1 IP and 14 ER). almost lost us the game. even though i dislike gregg and DLC i'd rather give the win to gregg.
September 10, 200818 yr This is a great win that was very much needed it also is further proof that Fredi wins when he doesnt have to manage small ball. He wins when the Marlins get 3 dingers.
