September 18, 200818 yr Marlins make it 7 wins in a row! P.S.- I have made the "fish of the game" poll multiple choice, so you can vote for more than one person (as requested by Rab).
September 18, 200818 yr Amezaga is the player of the game to me! Congrats to Nolasco though...15 win season. Quietly having an EXTREMELY UNDERRATED SEASON.
September 18, 200818 yr Marlins win! Nolasko get his 15th win. Marlins stay hot and extend their winning streak to 7 games. Player of the game: Entire Marlins Offense.
September 18, 200818 yr the whole team(- kevein gregg) Seriously...can we stop this? stope wut? hihehehe
September 18, 200818 yr but Erick seriously u do relize the bullpen has gotten a lot better since Gregg has left wit that "injury"
September 18, 200818 yr there should be an option the whole team(- kevein gregg) I agree on the whole team option.
September 18, 200818 yr GREAT GAME BY FLORIDA WE TOLD EVERYONE WEL GET HOT WHEN THIS OFFENSE WAKES UP NOW LOOK THIS IS A GLIMPS OF WHAT 2009 WILL LOOK LIKE WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
September 18, 200818 yr but Erick seriously u do relize the bullpen has gotten a lot better since Gregg has left wit that "injury" Yes...I have also realized that Kevin Gregg has been a part of that success (when he enters in the 7th inning). Lindstrom, Rhodes, Nelson, Gregg, and occasionally Miller...those 5 guys are the guys being used in tight spots, right now.
September 18, 200818 yr Nice comfortable win. Hanley i pray your ok we need you your so hot right now with the bat. Glad to see maybing get a hit and walk. Sanchez made a good play in the field too. Fredo did everything. Nolasko solid as usuall.
September 18, 200818 yr So much great stuff. Noly shut the Stros down. Cantu hits #28 with a salami. Hanley going 2-3 with 2 homers. Jake goes 3-5 without a HR! Uggla goes 1-3 with 2 BB. Amezaga has a monster day going 3-5 with 4 RBI, plus showing his value by moving from CF to SS. Maybin making his Marlins debut and getting a RBI. Jesus Delgado and Gaby Sanchez both making their big league debuts, with Delgado finishing off the game off scoreless. And I know I must be missing stuff. WHOOP!

He just isn't a closer, period. Now that Fredi finally has him where he does best, he is getting the results
September 18, 200818 yr if he pitches good in relief ok but i don't want to see us leading in ninth and him give up a grand slam and admire the ball leaving the park

Gregg is basically it. I can understand why he has been the closer over journeyman Joe Nelson and the unproven Matt Lindstrom.

Every one had a good day.
September 18, 200818 yr Btw, seriously...was I the only one impressed with Jesus Delgado's fastball, in the 9th inning?
September 18, 200818 yr Btw, seriously...was I the only one impressed with Jesus Delgado's fastball, in the 9th inning? pretty much, there was no pressure on the guy in the 9th, Fredi basically told him show me how hard u can throw when he brought him out, i mean no pressure
