Posted May 11, 200916 yr YOUR Florida Marlins (17-15) vs the Milwaukee Brewers (18-14) @ John Koronka, LHP (0-0, -.--) Vs Manny Parra, LHP (1-4, 4.88) @ Miller Park 8:05PM EDT TV: FS-F HD RADIO: WAXY 790, WAQI 710 Scouting Report Marlins: The Marlins called up Koronka from Triple-A New Orleans on Sunday, sending down outfielder Cameron Maybin to make room. Koronka, a former Chicago Cub and Texas Ranger, has thrown back-to-back scoreless five-inning starts for New Orleans. The left-hander is taking Anibal Sanchez's spot in the rotation for the time being. On May 7, Sanchez exited after 4 2/3 innings with right shoulder discomfort and will be on the disabled list for two months. Koronka hasn't pitched in the Majors since 2007 and has never faced Milwaukee. The Brewers are hitting .262 as a team against left-handers this season. Brewers: Despite the ugly record, Parra is coming off his three best performances of the season. Although he took a no-decision on May 1 after allowing three hits and a run in six innings against Arizona, Parra finally earned a victory last Wednesday against the Reds. Though he needed 119 pitches to get his team into the seventh inning, he gave up eight hits and two runs in six innings. It wasn't his strongest line of the season, but he's sure to enter the contest against the Marlins with some much-needed confidence. Record when starting Game threads (0-1) Cmon...gimme a win...
May 12, 200916 yr Yeah...there's a pretty good chance we will lose this game with Koronka on the mound. You never know, though.
May 12, 200916 yr We win this game 6-5. Koronka gives up 4 runs in 5 innings. Cantu goes deep. That is all I predict.

Ross Gload >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Brett Carroll. Brett Carroll shouldn't be getting starts...specifically, when we're having problems, offensively.
May 12, 200916 yr Seems like so far they are playing Coghlan every other game. Seems like he's not playing against lefties, actually. First De La Rosa, now Parra.
May 12, 200916 yr Well at least we got our stud leadoff man boni in the lineup. I also think gload should be in but fredi loves the right vs left thing. However id love to see carrol do well, hes had some bad breaks but just keeps working his tail off.
