Wave the white flag Fredy, is a waste to use the pen. Hey atleast we are getting 2010 1st draft pick, that's a positive.

last season must have been a fluke by nolasco

Even if it was, he's never been THIS bad. Last year wasn't Noly's only season.

some serious changes need to be made. this season is still very young and this team is pathetic. i was upstairs eating and i came back knowing that ricky had imploded. he needs to be sent down and he has been the very definition of terrible this year. an era over 9 is unacceptable.

right now this team is unacceptable.

I'm just curious about Nolasco' condition.

His physical or mental condition?

How is his velocity? Compared to his good starts... has it gone down or stayed the same?

We still have 119 games to go so there is still the possibility we could make the playoffs. However for that to happen we would need to see a MAJOR change in performances from the majority of the team. To be honest I just don't see us getting to the playoffs. I will continue to watch the games, as frustrating as they are but they have been no fun to watch over the past month. This is not what I paid $80 and stay up till 3am most nights for!

I think the velocity is down. He's throwing 91mph and last year was 94-95mph.

this wasn't a surprise......marlins start amazing...then always manage to mess it up and end horribly i can't wait when we can sign big money players

He's velo is the same. He's averaging 91.2 MPH this year, averaged 91.2 MPH last year, 91.4 tonight. Hits 94-95 when he wants to this year like he did last year. It's not physical, it's mental and not throwing quality strikes with his fastball.

You are down 12 runs, why use up the bullpen? their is still games tomorrow and sunday.

worst spent money on a game ever. 15 minutes in the game is already over.

Not sure what he was supposed to do there, can't argue any move he made EXCEPT for Calero.

I love Sean West and his talent, but as many before me have stated, he is not ready for the majors. Basically, we are being forced to maybe damage West because of lack of pitchers, and we will also be forced to start his arbitration clock way before he should have it started. Shouldn't be up for another year, but when your team lacks depth, you are forced to desperate measures.

And I am not happy that Nolasco is doing bad, I would just like to point out that I did state earlier before the season started that I felt Nolasco wasn't gonna be the Nolasco we saw from last year. I remember me and Erick arguing with this along with Rab, :(
