July 5, 200915 yr Ricky: Back and better then ever. Not even 2008 form. Awesome game from him, hope he keeps his dominance up.
July 5, 200915 yr http://thepopitude.com/marlins/K.gif http://thepopitude.com/marlins/K.gif Ricky killed.
July 5, 200915 yr This is why I thought Ricky would be our ace this season. One of the best pitchers in baseball in '08...he's baaaaaaacccccckkkkk!
July 5, 200915 yr We have learned something about Ricky. He is not a good pitcher to begin seasons. Let him take April off from now on, and then he can become our ace
July 5, 200915 yr Bucs didn't have a chance today. Good to see the offense keep tacking on runs. Yeah when the offense can score early and often say 2 runs after 2 inns, then it puts everyone in a confident mood esp the pitcher. Thats why we didnt sweep Pittsberg 7-0 in the 7th doesnt cut it
July 5, 200915 yr 8 innings, 3 hits, 0 runs, 2 walks, 12 strikeouts = fish of the game! I don't know how anyone could argue with that :thumbup
July 5, 200915 yr I wouldn't argue that JJ is our ace, but when Noly is on, he can dominate batters in ways that not even JJ can.
July 5, 200915 yr Nolasco is pitching better than anyone on the staff right now. Never mind our rotation, he must be on the best form of any starter in the majors during the time since he was recalled. The only challenger I can think of is Lincecum who has also been immense recently.
