Damn that's a huge blow..hopefully he'll be back sooner than expected. Atleast Tim Wood has done well when given the opportunity and should be a good replacement.

If Burke had done more shrugs in the weight room this wouldn't have happened.

 

Any way this sucks he was a stud in the long relief role. On the bright side we have a day off Monday, Ricky going today, and JJ on Tuesday which should give the pen some rest. With our luck though they both will have terrible starts.

I mentioned in the game thread last night that he could be hurt.

He started looking into the dugout with a look of concern after the first batter and did so after every pitch. I thought something was bothering him.

Surprised Fredi or Wiley didn't pick up on it. I did.

Okay, that was funny. Maybe he should take lessons from Chris who just sets his glove on top of his head and strolls around a bit. If anybody on this team has a sore neck it should be Chris.
