Oh I totally agree. That wasn't my point. I was just saying it's something to look forward to because of tonight's poor hitting performance.

OMG Tommy and Rich are defending Fredi! They must be fired too.

Damn them for using logic. Damn them to hellllllllll!

They cant just rip Fredi

Nah, you should be banished for being a trolling idiot. At least h2r provided basis for his opinions.

I guess you suffered acute myopia when your eyes glazed over my posts, none of which you bothered to respond to until now.

I am curious to hear why you feel Hensley did such a poor job tonight, and beyond that, why it was such a mistake to bring him into a "tie game." Your emphasis, not mine.

Because he walked two guys and let two more runs come across in a one run game. That's why he was bad. And it was a one run game, not a tie game. So in my anger, I made a small mistake, not that it made that much of a difference on my point, anyways.

So you are blaming him for the run that was caused by Han-Ram tossing it to no one in particular? I mean if that is how you want it to be, then so be it. Remember folks, runs scored on errors by the shortstop should be earned runs that should count against not only the pitcher, but also against the manager. At least according to one person here.

Beyond that though, you really think inducing a ground ball with 2 out, with the bases loaded, is a bad thing to do? That is somehow indicative of a bad pitcher? I mean, hey, you can feel that way if you want, but really 9 out of 10 times such an effort would have ended the inning at 2-1. It just happened to land perfectly between Cantu and Han-Ram. Hell, if Cantu just stayed at 3b this would not have even been an issue!

You went back and added the "walked two guys" part. So you are blaming the pitcher for doing what the manager says when it comes to intentional walks? Yeah, I am sure if he decided to rebel against that, that would have went over well.I discussed in an earlier post that walking Martin was not exactly good, but it never should have been an issue as it turns out.

One of the walks wasn't intentional and it's arguable that even if Hanley makes that play, the guy is out. Anyways, you're getting off my point. I don't care what the hell the result was, even if Hensley gets out of it 2-1. Bringing Hensley in to that situation is my beef with Fredi. Not the result, not how Hensley pitched, not my opinion about Hensley as a pitcher (which isn't bad). But the fact that he was pitching alone at that time in the game. So you're wrong. Even if Cantu did make that play, this would indeed still be an issue.

Hensley didn't do poorly, he had some tough breaks. Veras looked bad, but lets not pretend that you can drop a guy out of your pen cause he looked bad that one time a few days ago. All this is a distraction from that rally going on over here.

It is such a little role but every team needs a wes helms. it is so important to have agreat pinch hitter like him.

4 games in and Coghlan has yet to take a walk...

The least of my worries.
