Posted October 7, 201014 yr Hey all, Just wanted to let you know Dallas was finally cleared from rehab last week. They didnt put a gun on him but from what the catchers who caught him told him he is back to near his velocity from high school. Greatest part is he has NO PAIN!!!
October 7, 201014 yr Thanks for update, glad to hear. Hopefully next year he'll be back to where he was before injuries side-tracked him. I could be mistaken but I believe he's a minor league free agent; Do you know if he plans to resign with the Marlins?
October 7, 201014 yr Author Thanks for update, glad to hear. Hopefully next year he'll be back to where he was before injuries side-tracked him. I could be mistaken but I believe he's a minor league free agent; Do you know if he plans to resign with the Marlins? I hope this doesnt get me in trouble with Dallas but yes they have basically agreed to terms for a 1 year deal and he should sign it soon. I guess you would call it "agreed in principle." He has faced some of the guys in instructional league in his rehab and didnt give up a hit. I know that wont be very impressive to most but Im just glad he is back to being healthy. He says he feels as strong as ever.
October 7, 201014 yr Great news. I'd love to see him become a ML starter, but it's a long road, I'm sure.
October 7, 201014 yr Really happy to hear that. With how little depth we have in pitching in the upper minors, he'd be a huge boost for us if he's able to get back to his old self. He's still young so I'm very hopeful in him. Thanks again.
October 7, 201014 yr Our last hope for making the Miggy trade even the least bit successful? Lol, Im just talking tongue in cheek... dont take me seriously on this one
October 8, 201014 yr Author Hey i dont blame anyone for doubting him. He has to go out and prove that he is back. Even though it has been tough on him being injured, mentally he is as strong as ever. He finally opened up and told me he had been hurting for a while. Now he is totally pain free.
October 9, 201014 yr Good to hear Dallas is recovering fine. Best of luck to him and hope he can be a part of the Marlins future. Please keep us informed of his future plans & doings.
October 25, 201014 yr Author Signed his 1 year contract Thursday. He's officially a Marlin for the next year

November 5, 201014 yr Sorry that I am indifferent to mediocre pitchers. Dude, you are just plain rude
November 5, 201014 yr Sorry that I am indifferent to mediocre pitchers. Why the hell would you say that? What does it contribute?
November 6, 201014 yr Sheesh sorry. Take the sticks out of your asses. Apology accepted. You still sound like you have a thorn stuck in yours, though.
