Posted November 8, 201014 yr They did it, they sucked me back in. I'm thrilled with the Mets new hires in the Front Office, Alderson is the kind of no-nonse guy this team needs. And Riccardi and DePodesta are two great guys to groom for a few years to take over when Sandy leaves. This front office has done a complete 180 and I love it.
November 8, 201014 yr They're still the Muts- Overpaid and underproducing, I can only hope they sign more free agents like the last few.
November 8, 201014 yr Damn, sucks the Mets got DePodesta. I mean he's actually a really smart guy and might actually help the Mets become somewhat competent again... Although they still have some sh*tty sh*tty contracts they have to deal with first. That group has a lot of work on their hands to turn the Mets into a contender again. Seems like the Mets are taking over the Oakland A's Moneyball Front Office. Personally I think DePodesta does a better job of finding talent than Riccardi.

November 9, 201014 yr After '11, they'll only have Johan Santana, David Wright, and Jason Bay under contract. They have a ton of money coming off the books after this coming season, and this time they'll have a smart front office to play with it. It's very scary what might happen.
November 9, 201014 yr This is troubling. The NL East is going to be a very tough division in 3 years time.
November 9, 201014 yr May these moves turn out to be as smart as trading in a van for an electric bike.
November 10, 201014 yr May these moves turn out to be as smart as trading in a van for an electric bike.  Hey, it got them to Colorado!

November 12, 201014 yr Since you all seem confused. Aspen is in Colorado, in reality. In the movie, they also go to Aspen, Colorado. However, when she first says that she's going to Aspen, Lloyd makes some remark about California. :thumbup
November 22, 201014 yr Is that a good thing?  Better than Kerry Collins. Or Dave Hollins. But not better than Ken Holland.
