dim
For people who aren't watching the game and are wondering why Hanley isn't in the game... http://www.marlinsba...ng-astros-game/ During the 7th inning of Friday night’s contest against the Houston Astros, Hanley Ramirez was taken off the field after suffering an apparent leg injury. With runners at first and second with one out, Astros catcher J.R Towles hit a ground ball to Omar Infante. Infante flipped the ball to Hanley, who stepped on the bag for the out and was unable to complete the double play. Bill Hall, who was sliding into second base to try and break up the double play, appeared to get a piece of Ramirez’s knee , causing Hanley to fall down onto the dirt in excruciating pain. After getting checked out by the Marlins trainer Sean Cunningham, as well as manager Edwin Rodriguez and fellow teammates, Ramirez left the game, leaning on Marlins coaches to help him leave the field. He was unable to put any pressure on his left foot. With Ramirez out, Greg Dobbs replaced Donnie Murphy at 3B, with Murphy moving over to SS. Erick
I guess I'll never worry when he's nearly crying on the field, again; Mr. Dramatic Man.
Anonymous
I don't think he was extra dramatic about it.

Im with you. He had a bruise and acted like he was shot. The twins guy fracture his fibula and showed less emotion.
gizmo
Can't we just be glad that he's not seriously hurt? Our season would be practically done if he missed significant time.

Hanley had the same reaction Nishioka had, and Nishioka broke his f***ing leg. I actually thought Hanley had broken his leg.

Iowa
Ouch! I got a boo-boo! Unless you are some reverse, pseudo Hanley ramirez voodoo doll and know exactly what he felt at the moment of impact, give it a rest. I think you're just trying to make something out of nothing.. but whatever. I'm just glad he's okay.

GoFishGoMs628
Many reports say Hanley wants to pursue acting after baseball they say he has a natural God given talent. We will have to see. As for the injury hope he is back in a week or so if not a few days.

Iowa
I've seen countless people roll an ankle and act like they just took a machete to the leg. Again, any type of leg injury always feels more severe at the moment of impact and you always think the worst. I don't know why I'm wasting time on this.. its a pretty asinine topic.. not nearly as ridiculous as the Cutler thing but still ridiculous. Erick
Hopefully Stanton plays tomorrow. If he doesn't, Gaby's gonna have to hit 3rd and I guess Buck would hit 4th.

I understand that it hurts, but he decided that he couldn't even put any weight on it, as if it was broken; that's all I'm saying. I thought it was broken, based on his actions. With that said, who the f*** cares? He won't be out for long, and that's all that matters.

Rabbethan
The first thing I said to Benched when they announced it was a leg contusion was "How long before people start calling Hanley soft?". You people are awesome. Oh, even worse than the people calling him soft are the people saying he was acting.

Logan Morrison had more injuries than him, throughout this game, for crying out loud.
