April 9th, 2011: Marlins at Astros

Well he struggled with velocity last year and said he thought it was back up. Maybe scott olsen syndrome got to him.

Javy isn't very good.

We know that, but apparently the Marlins brass sees something different.

Damn it link isn't working anymore!!! Beetles does that have anything to do with you?

4 innings.

I'm not basing this off 4 innings. Last season, he was bad. This season, the velocity just doesn't seem to be there. And he's still giving up a ton of doubles.

Different league. There's more evidence to believe he'll be better this year than there is to believe he'll be bad. Chill.

There were questions surrounding his velocity coming into this season. Doesn't mean he can't be effective its just a sign he could be hurt.

Thus far, it doesn't seem that way. I know there's plenty of time and I'm not dismissing him, but he just doesn't seem very good.

The Marlins made an emotional signing with him. Edwin likes Vazquez and has been friends with him for a while, and some of you said the Marlins FO has been trying to sign him for a few years. They signed him, with the hopes he would find his form, and its someone they were emotional about signing. They did not look at him with their baseball eyes.

I say he's gone before the All Star Break. Especially if we are still in contention by then.
