April 24, 201115 yr All in all a great game, I love seeing other teams' aces getting beat. Sucks JJ got a no-decision (also sucks Jimenez got bailed out as well in that regard). As far as Clay giving up two runs goes, it coulda been worse I suppose. Who bailed him out? Was it Webb or Choate? Incredible job by Mikey with the crushing home run, but I had to give Infante the vote here.

April 24, 201115 yr I said the other day that the only thing missing in the excitement stakes were the 3 run dingers. Since then we've seen a Cousins GS, Hayes 3 run HR and Stanton 3 run HR. I'm content!

April 25, 201115 yr Just putting this out there: Opposing batters are hitting .116/.182/.170 against Josh Johnson. Yes, that's a lower SLG than OBP. Yes, that's a .351 OPS-against. He's given up 4 extra-base hits in 34 innings. The next lowest OPS-against in MLB is .440.

April 25, 201115 yr what a standout game of the final season in old stadium...its easter, JJ against Jimenez, a game winning hr from stanton and, charlie sheen was even there chillin in south florida Fun game to be at. Emotional rollercoaster of a game. Nice breeze made it pretty comfortable. Don't care much for Charlie so I don't care if he was there or not. Matter of fact, never even noticed him. The boo birds have arrived for Hanley. I'm not into booing our own players. Seems rather Phillyish to me. Whether I like them or not I still pull for them. But the frustration level sure is rising. I hadn't really noticed, but on the radio on the way home they mentioned that the last two NL batting champs just went 0-24 in this series.
