They will be undefeated and they have NO chance of the BCS title game. At least 2 of the currenlty ranked major conference undefeated teams will still be in that condition and that will be all she wrote. Their conference prevents them from getting the true Nat. Champ bid and there is really no telling how they would perform if they were in the Big 12 or the PAC 10 or whatever.

That said, I will contend that the recent WAC and Mountain West aren't any worse than the Big East and they don't get a guaranteed BCS game.

You can't run off 10+ seconds just to throw it out of bounds TWICE. All you needed was field goal range, a hail mary is not the idea here. Plus they still could've run the ball, they had 3 time outs. Maybe it was the offensive coordinator calling bad plays. You can't tell me there weren't open receivers for short gains, Tech is covering everything deep at that point, yet Harris is only looking deep downfield... DUMP THE BALL OFF AT LEAST. FRUSTRATING. Could've been one of the biggest UM wins in years. I will not be sad to see Steven Morris start eventually. Was a great game though, just sucks to be on the losing end.

Losing Spence will hurt the most considering Buchanon is gone as well and Perryman, a true freshman, is probably the best remaining linebacker. The veteran DBs just aren't that good.
