Posted August 13, 201113 yr Nolasco has a solid start and the Marlins finally win at home. W: Nolasco (9-8) L: Cain (9-9) S: Nunez (32) 2B: B Petersen (5) 3B: L Morrison (3)
August 13, 201113 yr would love to give it to Petersen (3-3, 1 steal) but no one was on base for him. Nolasco threw a gem tonight. Big win against Matt Cain. #2 overall now in strikeouts for the Marlins.
August 13, 201113 yr Ricky really nailed it down after the first. Didn't think it would be a 2-1 game final. First win after starting a game thread. I'll have to get started on the next one. Maybe I can keep the streak going.
August 13, 201113 yr Why does Leo come out sometimes throwing 91-92 and then all of the sudden starts hitting 97-98 on the radar gun tonight? It seems like he can't sustain that when he has to pitch on consecutive days, etc.
August 13, 201113 yr Didn't see any of the game, I was busy celebrating a Josh Portis entrance as a future star for the Seahawks at QB! But seriously I was at Crazy, Stupid, Love with friends probably 2nd best movie I have seen this summer to Horrible Bosses. Glad the Marlins won, 2 runs wow beasting it offense. Nolasco had to be great to get the win. Neither of these teams have had much offense in August. Good for Petersen 3-3.
August 13, 201113 yr Nice game. Too bad I didn't see it because its football time. :exercise It's baseball first for me, but I understand the football fix-but what was seen last night in Atlanta is not anything that even remotely gets classified as worthy, nor was it expected to be.
