Posted October 19, 201113 yr Feel free to move this topic... Just wanted to remind everyone that this is usually around the best time to buy inexpensive merchandise. I don't know exactly how Marlins stuff will be affected, since the uniforms are changing. But, my guess is they will be priced similarly to other teams' stuff nonetheless. There have been 2 baseball merchandise deals on slickdeals.net front page in the last 24 hours. Right now, Amazon has an XXL Replica Batting Practice Jersey for $19.50 + Free Shipping http://www.amazon.com/Florida-Marlins-Replica-Jersey-Large/dp/B003MAKRFS/ref=sr_1_46?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1319035214&sr=1-46
October 19, 201113 yr sports authority in aventura has all marlin stuff, jerseys, hats, t-shirts at 75% off.
October 19, 201113 yr Thanks for the tip. This will be great for those of us who do not plan to buy any Miami Marlins merchandise. I'm waiting for Stanton t-shirts to get cheaper so I can buy a Florida Marlins one.
October 19, 201113 yr The Sports Authority in Sawgrass has a bunch of Marlins stuff on clearance as well. There was a stitched Hanley jersey for about 25 bucks I believe.
October 19, 201113 yr Author I wish I was in South Florida right now so I could take advantage of some of those deals; unfortunately, I won't be back until Christmas time.
October 19, 201113 yr Author Here's the other Slickdeals FP deal, by the way. Last I checked, the Marlins shirts were back to full price, but I'll link to the thread anyway. (And the thread will have lots of details and link to the actual deal, of course.) http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/60694/amazon.com-mens-mlb-official-wordmark-short-sleeve-tshirts-new-york-yankees-5.50-baltimore-orioles-5.50-los-angeles-dodgers-6-toronto-blue-jays
October 19, 201113 yr I got a 59fifty on-field cap at The Sports Authority for $7 bucks. Everything else they had was either way too big or way too small. Still, I'm waiting for 11.12.11 for some good sales.

Still, I'm waiting for 11.12.11 for some good sales. That's of course the other variable. Prices could go down, but then again, if people hate the new unis and demand for the old gear rises, then the prices may be higher than they are now. My best guess is that, while 11/12 may bring even better prices, you're not to regret paying the prices being charged (on "deals") today.
October 19, 201113 yr Marlins En Miami had our on-field 5950s for 5 bucks even though they didnt have many commonly worn sizes. A guy on another board went by the other day and said the store was practically empty so they might be selling out fast.
October 19, 201113 yr I really wish my brother's car broke down on the way to the last game. We were gonna do some shopping in South Florida for old Marlins gear. Since we didn't make it my budget to stock up on original Marlins gear has been spent elsewhere. Sadly in Central Florida there is not as much Marlins stuff as there is Braves, Yankees, & Red Sox (& off course Rays, but they are the local team).
October 20, 201113 yr I bought the 30 dollar Hanley jersey and a 6 dollar Hanley shirt on Amazon. They're also selling 30 dollar JJ jerseys.
October 20, 201113 yr I bought the 30 dollar Hanley jersey and a 6 dollar Hanley shirt on Amazon. They're also selling 30 dollar JJ jerseys. Same here. Generally I don't like replicas but for 30 bucks? Easy buy. As far as shirts go, I generally don't by Majestic shirts online because their sizes are always weird and inconsistent.
October 20, 201113 yr Author $24 for the unnamed replica jersey, and $18 for a Hanley Ramirez youth small replica jersey. Nice deals.

Yea, the shirt looked kinda dodgy in the picture; like the sleeves were too long. But it's 6 dollars and I tend to overwear the shirts I really like, so my blacks are fading and I needed one.
October 20, 201113 yr $24 for the unnamed replica jersey, and $18 for a Hanley Ramirez youth small replica jersey. Nice deals. How are those youth jerseys? Is a youth XL the same as an adult medium?
October 20, 201113 yr Part of me is still upset because if I am going to be stocking up, the 1993-2002 home jersey is much better than the 2003-2011 version. Same goes for the road jersey too. I'd like to find a good deal on a replica or authentic black alternate.

October 21, 201113 yr I got a 59fifty on-field cap at The Sports Authority for $7 bucks. Everything else they had was either way too big or way too small. Still, I'm waiting for 11.12.11 for some good sales. Which sports authority? This was Dolphin Mall but prices are generally set by corporate, so I'd imagine it's the same everywhere.

I'll have to check it out. Want to get a new hat. I'll be getting the new Miami Marlins hat as well. But there your talking 31,99+
October 21, 201113 yr Last year, about this time on the calendar, Sports Authority on Biscayne and 186th was selling Cantu and Uggla stitched jerseys for 7 bucks. But they only had XXL and XXXL sizes. They tend to have always on sale those big sizes.
October 22, 201113 yr FansEdge.com is having a promotion this weekend (expires 10/23) where you can get 20% off everything in your cart by using the promo code "FRNDFAM2." There isn't much (good) Marlins merchandise already on sale, but the coupon might help with some of the other items. (Although it's unreasonably expensive at $284.99, they're at least still selling the authentic road jersey with "Florida" on the front, which is no longer listed on the MLB shop.)
October 22, 201113 yr Author 25% off clearance items at Nike. Hat tip to Slickdeas. Here's the thread: http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3453700 The main downside is that shipping starts at $8 unless you spend $100. Here are the Marlins items - I haven't tested if they qualify for the 25% of not, so I'll just post the listed prices. Jersey - $43.97 Hat - $15.97 Shirt - $19.97 Shirt #2 - $19.97

October 25, 201113 yr Champs Outlet in Hialeah has some neat stuff too. I think for the most part, Sports Authority has stuff for 75% off. Try Target as well.
