November 9, 201114 yr Samson will be on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM at 10;30 AM ET today. If anyone catches this interview, please summarize it here if you get a chance.
November 9, 201114 yr 1. Been planning on this free agent class for 3 years now and have a VERY clear plan on bringing in players to compliment players that are already here. 2. Looking to host some games on march 5,6,7 at new ballpark. 3. Ozzie is fitting in well and they LOVE him. 4. Logan was sent down for performance issues not discipline issues. Logan is a big part of the future of the team. 5. They are viewing this as a relocation not a renaming of the team. 6. He wants Josh Johnson to become the Ace that he know he is capable of being. 7. Cuban CF is a special guy and they can't wait to see him in person. and it seems he would be a perfect fit for the team. 8. He doesn't want hanley to be the only face of the franchise. Overall a good interview, Sampson actually came across as likeable. Nothing really telling here. not suprisingly vanilla

November 9, 201114 yr I read this as they're trading LoMo, JJ, and Hanley, and that Ozzie has already been punched by Stanton. Am I alone there?
November 9, 201114 yr Samson's a likeable guy, really. I don't get the hate for him. He's short. He has a whiny voice. He is Miley Cyrus.

November 10, 201114 yr There's an article with Samson When he was on the lebatard show. Says there Is a 1 percent chance of having Reyes signed before Friday. What I find interesting is Samson has no problem talking about buerle, Reyes and fielder but when asked about Pujols, Samson has no comment. I wonder why.

Interesting.....Reyes, Buhrle and Fielder could be cover for the covert Pujols negotiations ?
