Yankees are my favorite team in baseball, but became a fish fan since moving down here in 2000. When they play the Yankees though, gotta go with my Yanks. Today I really don't care since it's spring training, but I'm really excited about seeing the new stadium.

April 1, 201214 yr Damn, turns out I'm off today and when I woke up a little while ago I saw that they released some more tickets for today. I almost pulled the trigger but even if I would have jumped on my bike and broke several traffic laws and endangered myself and others, I don't think I could have made it on time from Key West. It would have been great to be there for this first big crowd, almost regular season game, but I am content to watch and listen to Rich and Tommy's thoughts.

"We're going to use those as a nice little showcase, not only for the team, but for the new ballpark," Hutton said. The two games with the Yankees are part of a series of soft openings at Marlins Park before the regular season begins on Wednesday night against the Cardinals. ESPN will televise Opening Night. "Since we're not doing Opening Night, ESPN has that, we're going to do our best to show off the new ballpark," Hutton said. "And show off the new ballclub. It looks like everybody is healthy. All systems go."
