June 10, 201214 yr even if Buck was a mistake there's little they can do about it at this point. there are no other catchers in the system that can take his place and they certainly aren't going to trade him. Only thing you could do is give Hayes a little more playing time but he's not great either. Buck isn't a .300 hitter but he's not .170 either, he'll pick things up eventually. What they need is for guys like LoMo and Gaby to get in there & shoulder a bigger part of the offense. & Boni healthy of course.

However, when you brought him as a pinch hitter at the bottom of the 9th, with the Marlins down a run or two, Donnie Murphy has the uncanny ability to hit that ball out of the park and win the game. So even though he was mediocre or bad the rest of the time, you still had to love him for that. However, there is no room on this team for him anymore. i wish him the best.

However, when you brought him as a pinch hitter at the bottom of the 9th, with the Marlins down a run or two, Donnie Murphy has the uncanny ability to hit that ball out of the park and win the game. So even though he was mediocre or bad the rest of the time, you still had to love him for that. However, there is no room on this team for him anymore. i wish him the best. Uncanny ability? He had 4 HR in 72 pinch hit ABs as a Marlin. He had the uncanny ability to do one thing: suck.
