I think everyone should be allowed to say what they want to say via social media, but he has no right to take that picture.

 

It's in public, so he's well within his rights to take the picture and post it. I don't get his objection though. I suppose he finds it gross or maybe low class.

Also, I'd think that a "total douche liberal" might advocate those arguments about it being beautiful and natural, whereas a conservative might force you to not do it in public, and maybe a libertarian would say "who cares?".

More ignorance on how to take care of an infant. You can't just pump, put it in bottles, and take it with you. A lot of women can't pump, store, and the use later. There is an enzyme in breast milk called lipase. It can make the milk smell and taste like sh*t if not ingested almost immediately. Then there are the reheating issues. Babies won't drink cold or room temperature milk. It needs to be heated. You cannot microwave breast milk. It needs to be slowly warmed up. So, no, you can't have them just pump, which hurts like hell, and bottle feed them. Some babies won't even take a bottle of not trained to.

Breast milk can be frozen to be used later. Take it out and let it thaw or run it under warm water. no microwave needed.

Look at your own reasons for pumping. Drinking alcohol and working. Legitimate reasons. In your other post you want them to bottle feed because you don't like the thought of a baby getting milk from the source. I know bottle feeding isn't a crazy idea. When it NEEDS to be done it is done. But it doesn't NEED to be done all the time.

 

This has been about breastfeeding in public, like the lady in lomos pic was doing, not about the many other times when pumping is necessary.

 

I never once said I had a problem with it, i just suggested a different method that could have avoided the situation. Personally, i dont give a sh*t, so im not sure where you got that from. the point i was making is that there are other alternatives to breastfeeding which are becoming the norm. This just turned into a big thing because of that. im not mad at you cause you feel breastfeeding is the way to go, im just saying the whole freezing milk thing is happening a lot more now. and im bored.

I am fine with LoMo's opinion about the subject, but taking a picture was way over the top. Just say this man followed LoMo on twitter (never know) and saw this picture. Logan would be in deep do-do.
