anyone watch?

 

Season 3 just started the other week & things are getting good.

Love this series! Haven't seen any of the new episodes yet as I'm currently ahead in terms of the books and trying to finish book 4 "A Feast for Crows" before watching Season 3.

 

Some of the stuff which happens is insane!

I've read all the books, so nothing comes as a surprise for me, but that doesn't mean it's not exciting to watch unfold on TV. Some the changes they've made have worked well for the TV I think.

I enjoy the Tv show and I haven't read any of the books.

sweet moses that was an awesome episode. The damn show has 100 storylines and they're all great and I can't figure which one is the best and then the episode ends with just balls-out badassery.

Seriously one of the best episodes in the series so far-and that is saying a lot. Last nights and Blackwater are my top two. Can't get enough of Tyrion, too bad he hasn't gotten much screen time this season.

Yeah I think when I saw him in the very first or second episode I knew he'd be my favorite character. Varys the eunich is turning out to be interesting too. You think you'll hate him early on but he finds a way to survive. Plus he has great lines (but then everyone does).

It's an ongoing battle to resist reading ahead & spoiling everything but so far I'm holding out.

Started watching season one again yesterday

Can't wait for this weekend's show, things have slowed down a bit but you know they'll want to end the season big. Next-to-last episode last season was Blackwater, will be tough to match that one.

 

My wife has stopped asking me what's going on in any particular episode because she knows the backstory will go on forever, lol.

Season 3 has been the best so far in my opinion.

2 more episodes then I can get back to the books...A Dance with Dragons next up

This week's episode is going to be brutal. I can't wait to see it.

I hope Arya gets some revenge somewhere along the lines with all the shit she's going through.

I know Martin is not a happy endings guy but they'd better give me SOMETHING to hang onto in next week's season finale... I'm running out of people to root for in the show.

 

Also for anyone who's read the books, are Edmure and Blackfish alive? I didn't notice them so I'm guessing yes?

Blackfish is apparently, he didn't make the trip in the book and in the show... they had him go take a piss so I'll assume it was to save him. As for Edmure... the only thing I read was that he's alive, but in chains. Maybe that was just a sex joke, who knows.

His ego isn't happy with not being the No. 1 heel/bad guy of Westeros after the Red Wedding so he's going to take his crossbow and just shoot everyone.

finale was a little underwhelming but everyone probably needed a breather before the break.

 

I figured that's who was holding Theon. Ouch NOT COOL. Loved the bit with Yara though.

 

Finally Arya gets to take out a little vengeance on someone, even if it wasn't anyone important. She's probably going to be a killing machine before this show is over. Love the Arya-Hound team, quite a pair.

 

Could've done without the Danerys crowd-surfing bit at the end. That whole thread is getting a little slow.
