June 24, 201610 yr Well, I finally caught up so I can join this thread. And just as I caught up, season 7 of GoT probably just got boned by Brexit if they're spending that much money on one episode.
June 24, 201610 yr Supposedly seasons 7 and 8 are going to be only 6 or 7 episodes each rather than the usual 10.
June 25, 201610 yr Supposedly seasons 7 and 8 are going to be only 6 or 7 episodes each rather than the usual 10. If they do that, I hope the episodes are a little longer.
June 27, 201610 yr Best season in a long time. Lit about the only redeeming quality the past two seasons was Oberyn. I was thinking of not bothering with this season but glad I did. It was more "predictable", but throwing curveballs for the sake of throwing curveballs is dumb and it's good to finally see things starting to come together and actually starting to get to the meat and potatoes of the plot. The directing (the Tommen scene) and musical score (the trial scene) of that episode were so prime.
June 27, 201610 yr I reckon the "other" Greyjoy fleet will meet Daenerys en route to Westeros and have a massive battle at sea.
July 2, 201610 yr Author Such a great finale. Agreed the trial scene was so unlike anything they've ever done, loved that creepy piano. I guess the Bran scene confirmed the long-held popular theory, if there was still any doubt. Seemed like this episode may have Hinted at a turning point for Jamie but we'll see. And I was hoping for a Margary walk of shame. House Morment remembers
July 17, 20179 yr Bit of an underwhelming return however it did serve the purpose of reestablishing various storylines.
July 25, 20179 yr Author Euron was awful before last night's episode. This was a little better but it's hard to care about a character they've just thrown out of left field like he's the new Jeoffrey. And no one cares about the Dorne storyline. Liking most of the other stuff though.
August 1, 20179 yr This last episode was great.. though they sure do cover a shit load of area in one episode now!
August 2, 20179 yr Author yeah Cersei sure turned things around quick, she looked like a lost cause a few episodes ago, & now Dany looks like the one who's reeling.
August 2, 20179 yr I heard that all of the episodes are going to be 90 minutes moving forward.. you heard that as well?
