He is turnering

I thought Heaney's fastball was supposed to have more zip than this? jitters probably?

naw he never had that kind of velo & arm.

Where's that guy who told me yesterday that Heaney has better stuff than Henderson Alvarez? I'm willing to give the kid the benefit of the doubt due to first game nerves & jitters and whatnot, but Alvarez throws 96-97 mph and has a variety of good pitches. This kid is nice, but at 93 mph he ain't gonna blow anybody away. Of course it's way early, but this is why I have to shake my head when guys make these kind of statements before the kid even threw his first major league pitch.

Has furcal actually hit the ball in the air yet or has everything been grounders?

Just looked it up and he literally has hit nothing but groundballs so far.

Oh wait looks like 2 line drives are in there as well. so before tonight 88% groundballs, 11% LDs and 0% fly balls.

he hasn't pitched in days

I don't understand how Stanton hasn't learned to stop swinging at those pitches. I know he is great and all but my God! He's going to see that pitch when he has two strikes on him every time until he stops chasing it. Doesn't he watch video of his at bats?

He's thrown one inning, ignoramus. Also, I never said that Heaney threw harder. I said that he has better stuff. If it's about velocity, Eovaldi would be an ace and you already pointed out about 100x times yesterday that he's not Jose Fernandez.
