We blanked Phillies. Koehler and bullpen did their job well, didn't make to go to extra.

A Terrible month was gone. Now is July.

I hope Hand will not waste 2nd chance tomorrow. Go for Sweep.

50 more wins...

Oh and congrats we tied the same amount of wins through July 31, 2013!!!

Btw, Brad Penny started today at High A, Jupiter since signed.

He had 4.2 ip 7h 4r 4er 0b 2k. Not Impressive.

He really shouldn't even be a starter anymore. His velocity just isn't what it used to be and he has to put a lot more into it if he wants his fastball to reach the upper 90's. If they want him to succeed and help out the MLB roster, have him come out of the bullpen.

This team is not going to go 50-28 to finish the season.

You also said they would be terrible before the season. I've learned to take statements like this with a grain of salt, and clearly not as fact.

The record they have right now is pretty much where I expected them to be.

Your so full of shit.

Everytime you open your mouth is negative. No chance in hell you expected them to be around .500 and competing for a playoff spot.

I may be a glass half full kind of guy, but you've always been the one saying the Cartons empty.

Shit I bet you put that back in the fridge, empty and all. I hate peckerheads like you. Empty carton putting back muthaF*****'s.

50-28 will be hard to do but maybe we can sneak in with 88 wins?? (47-31)?

Lol at people doubting a good finish by the fish.

I would have loved to hear your opinion about their chances in 2003 when Mckeon took over. I bet you would have been really optimistic about them not only making the playoffs but taking the championship from the Yanks.

The beautiful thing about the fish is that they are young and resilient, and improving constantly. The beautiful thing about baseball and sports in general is that opinions mean jack and shit. Count someone out, and they will likely prove you wrong.

We are a weird team. One part of it is awesome (two if not for injury), and a few other parts of it are very good. However, one part of it is terrible, and a few other parts of it are very bad.

It's annoying that teams can send up four or five decent hitters in a row. We just have Stanton and McGehee. The rest either come through with the odd moment of brilliance, or look like they've never seen someone throw a baseball at them before.

The record they have right now is pretty much where I expected them to be.

Absolutely fucking not. Don't make me go back and find your posts, please spare me the time.

Absolutely f***ing not. Don't make me go back and find your posts, please spare me the time.

Go ahead and find them. I never said that this team would be a repeat from last year in terms of awfulness. I said that they still weren't going to be a good team and the current record reflects that.

the Marlins have a better record than the Red Sox, who won the World Series last year. so using my completely unflawed logic, the Marlins are the best team in baseball.
