I just don't understand. Gregg has proven that he still sucks, yet the Marlins refuse to have anyone else pitch the 8th if he is available. They give crappy veterans the longest leashes but dick the youth around like crazy.

 

Some of our guys get chances after chances regardless of their performance. Others get demoted or benched after one or two mistakes. It's just the Marlins way.

It's easy to complain about Salty. But he remains a much needed upgrade over the Mathis/Olivo/Brantly combo of last year.

It would be cool if Gregg got hit hard here to DFA him after the game.

If Henderson Alvarez isn't an all star, especially after today's start the league clearly just doesn't care much for the Marlins or watch their games.

They didn't ignore him. They were just interviewing Jason Grilli and his awesome story. They knew it would be the only time they'd get to talk to him before he'd revert back into a sh*tty player.

 

Fox will have PLENTY more times to talk to Jose throughout his world's greatest pitcher career.
