Er ... okay ...

It's just based on improvement from last year to this year. I guarantee the writer of the article doesn't watch Red's in game moves.

Right though I could see him winning MOTY actually if the fish finish at or over .500. For the same reason basically.

Er ... what?

Your thread title is "Er .. okay ..." and your post says "Make sure you read ... right ... to ... the ... bottom ..." but the web link is as messy as ever littered with videos and images and ads and wacky fonts and crap...

You should cut to the chase mister. I don't want to read the article.

Red sucks, we know.

It's actually a legitimate article by a "legitimate"sports writer. Fox sports is the worst.

I know. That's the sad part.

It's not just fox anymore. We are seeing more and more and more websites adopting the whole Bleacher Report setup.

Every character is a different post, that way I rack up my post count just like ad revenue.

I see him winning it if he gets into the playoffs for sure.

I think some of us wish he wins it in the same fashion as Joe Girardi.

You could have just skipped right to the bottom. To be fair. It was obvious that was the point.

No, it's not. The topic title isn't obvious, it says nothing about Red. The topic itself says nothing about Red.

It posts an obnoxious article (not his fault, that's Fox's fault).

I'm not going to debate any of that with you, but his actual initial post made it clear there would be something ridiculous at the bottom.

Great, don't debate it with me. Then stop quoting me about it. I'll debate you all day though, there's no context here at all.

Try reading it on your phone. Go for it.

You don't even have a phone.

I actually did read it on my phone.... while taking a massive dump. I scrolled through, Saw he thinks Lucroy is the better MVP over Tulo, then Votes Stanton second.

I continued scrolling, saw there was more- and cut through the BS CY/ROY races and saw the Manager of the year- AL First. Once I got to the NL MOTY I knew where the gag was.

It wasn't that hard.... my poop and going scrolling through.

I also placed three bids on ebay and sent a few emails---- ah the luxury of technology.

Oh- and I replied to this thread twice.

Lucroy for NL MVP over Tulo and Giancarlo is actually worse than Red for MOTY, IMO. I know they aren't on the best teams, but there shouldn't be any doubt about Tulo being MVP this season through the AS break...

I hope that Redmond doesn't finish in the top 3 of MOY voting. It will make it much harder for Loria to fire Redmond after the season is over.

Joe Girardi, 2006.

Then again, Girardi did tell him to shut up, so that may have factored into a lot of things.

Loria's PR situation is also much more precarious now than it was in 2006. And as you pointed out, there is no documented personal quibble here between Redmond and Loria. Redmond is simply incompetent as a manager.

There's no way that Loria fires Redmond if he does well in the voting.
