July 31, 201412 yr Spike, seriously, we won't be able to trade Salty. Relatively expensive for a negative player.
July 31, 201412 yr You must really like rebuilding. Why aren't u an Astros fan? U treat this team like a video game team that u can just trade away with a few clicks of a controller. I think what we could get for those players is much better than what any of those players will actually ever provide.
July 31, 201412 yr With all his faults, I still think Salty is right now one of those players who currently has more value to us than he would to any other team. Meaning he's pretty untouchable right now .
July 31, 201412 yr speculation now that with the sox new farm system, they're gonna make a serious push for giancarlo in the off season
July 31, 201412 yr Well, I have to go to hell aka work. Bye guys and gals and others. Didn't u tell ur boss today was the trade deadline? Call him up and tell him to wait until after four . Damn.
July 31, 201412 yr With all his faults, I still think Salty is right now one of those players who currently has more value to us than he would to any other team. Meaning he's pretty untouchable right now . Possibly, but only because his actual value from a trading standpoint is so low.
July 31, 201412 yr I think what we could get for those players is much better than what any of those players will actually ever provide. Ok thats fair but I'm put off by you literally listing like ten players at once. Is that your list to choose from or would u seriously want allll those guys gone at once?
July 31, 201412 yr Ok thats fair but I'm put off by you literally listing like ten players at once. Is that your list to choose from or would u seriously want allll those guys gone at once? For the right deals, definitely. Sell high on Mcgehee and Cishek, the rest are average bullpen arms and platoon players but still pieces teams in contention would overvalue at the deadline. And I would definitely get rid of Solano and Hechavarria, because the fact that they are even on the MLB team makes me sad.
July 31, 201412 yr Cosart seems to be the Marlins way of saying they got something without admittedly getting absolute garbage. I think any Cosart deal is dependent on what we give up.
July 31, 201412 yr The shortstop? Yep, that's what he said. Frank Conti @FrankConti13 5m Marlins are still in on 2B from the Reds Zack Cozart like we have said on the show 2 weeks ago,so maybe not a starter but IF help. lets see
July 31, 201412 yr Cozart actually has some decent stuff and strange peripherals. He is an odd player.

July 31, 201412 yr he can play 2b as well He's a much better defensive SS than hech so hech should be the one to move to 2b really

Ok and do u not care at all about how a clubhouse would react to almost a third of the team being shipped out at once? I mean I don't think we're a playoff team but we aren't a bottom feeding team like last season either .
July 31, 201412 yr Joe Frisaro ✔ @JoeFrisaro Lineup posted by #Marlins and Stanton is in it. So is Yelich ... Joe, why wouldn't they be?
July 31, 201412 yr If acquired, Cosart would be our bet SS. So of course he would sit behind Hechavarria.
