July 28, 201412 yr Hey welcome. To clarify for the one millionth time, I don't hate mike. He's actually a very good athlete. A B plus player if you will. The occasional clutch hit. Not much else. Plus his defense has greatly improved from the last couple of years. I rate him a solid 6 out of 10 this year. If he struck out less, then an 8. So with this said, Giancarlo michael Cruz Herbie Stanton, do something A plus worthy tomorrow!!!

July 28, 201412 yr I'm getting pretty tired of seeing Stanton strike out on breaking balls low and outside. He's trying to pull everything,. It would seem to be such an easy correction to take the ball to right field like he did earlier in the year.

It would seem to be such an easy correction to take the ball to right field like he did earlier in the year. Well, I don't think he'd be able to take a lot of those sliders anywhere. It's not like most of them are exactly close to the plate, and Stanton stands far off the plate himself. Until he learns to lay off of them, any pitcher with a half decent slider is just going to throw that pitch with two strikes.
