July 31, 201412 yr What a genius deal by GM Bean. Works out for both teams, really. Cespedes I believe is under contract for another year at a reasonable rate and should rake in Fenway. Oakland clears money for the off-season to put together whatever game plan they have and get Lester for the push. Seriously, great deal for both of them.

Good trade for both teams, Red Sox actually will have the option of keeping Cespedes for another two years as he won't be eligible for free agency until after 6 years
