Really, he's entered Andrew Miller territory in terms of top pitching prospect disappointment levels. He's got absolutely nothing going for him. Everything he throws is hittable, he can't locate, falls behind in the count, his velocity dipped, he's slow to the plate...

 

If Alvarez is out for another turn in the rotation just give someone else the start, it's painful to watch this. His last two outings weren't as bad but it was mostly smoke & mirrors.

Mathis definitely needs to comeback.

Whats really sad is the Reds have one of the worst offenses in baseball with Votto and Phillips out and they are absolutely teeing off on Turner. If that isnt enough proof of how bad Turner sucks, then i dont know what else they need to see before DFA this guy...

As bad as Turner has been our offense has been garbage the entire series. You can say that we should have split the series but the reality is that last nights game could have gone either way and we would be on our way to getting swept at home right now.
