Joe8512
Weird game. Amazing how good Alvarez is on a day where he's feelin off
Undakai
Can't wait for Fernandez - Alverez - other guys. Don't care who makes up the rest of the rotation, that 1-2 punch is going to be amazing if both guys keep form when Jose is back. Not that the other three would be bad, mind you...but if Alverez pitches like this (or improves a little) next year and Jose pitches like Jose, might have a competition for Cy Young on our team Unlikely, sure, but one can imagine. Javi Zayas
Who is better Henderson Alvarez or Fernandez? Hard to pick between those two.
dim
Sometimes you have to beat bad teams by letting them screw themselves. Good to hear Alvarez had a good start. Winning tomorrow would be big. Three out of four to start this crucial nine game stretch would be a hell of a confidence booster.

Javi Zayas
Henderson has thrown a no hitter and Fernandez is a stud. Hard to pick. I am glad both are wearing Marlins uniforms.
Guest Vince0926
Nationals won, thus knocking pittsburgh out of a playoff spot. So now we are geared to after st. Louis (who is currently losing) and san fran (who beat the phillies). 8 games away from nationals could be very hard to overcome headed into august 17th with 39 to go. But we have our first and hopefully only shot to tie last year's win total.
dim
I love Henderson and have defended him when most weren't but that is a dumb question. Fernandez is the obvious and right answer.
enterthemadness
I took a nap. So, naturally, the win is because of me. #etmwassleepy
SongInTheAir
Who is better Henderson Alvarez or Fernandez? Hard to pick between those two. It isn't even close, and Alvarez is great. Just tells you how fantastic Jose is.
I Love Me Some Fish
There are too many numbers to display how much better Jose is than Alvarez but I'll just leave this: Jose accumulated a 1.6 WAR in just 51 IP this year. Alvarez? 2 WAR in 140+ IP. Love having both of them though.
canada-marlin24
Solid pitching but the double plays and lack of hitting with runners on, especially with 2-out, will cost us.

They are but another obstacle in our way. We can not see clearly, the rain is not gone.

fish14
Huge swing game tomorrow. Could be the start to a great homestand or a mediocre start. A win tomorrow with Texas and colorado coming up next would be fairly awesome.
