welp, hate to say it, but may be time to send nate to the pen. His 2nd half splits are jacob tuner-esque

 

 

 

We probably see him traded, TBH. Probably has a bit of value as a starter, and he would be more helpful in a trade rather than in relief considering we have a pretty darn good pen. I think he is def the guy on the outside looking in with Heaney and Nico knocking on the door and Jose coming back.

I seriously wonder if Eovaldi will learn how to get out of these situations and stop giving up what feels like multiple 2-out runs every start. He constantly will give up a big two out hit that scores a run and then instead of stopping the bleeding he gives up two more.

 

I also think he is fatigued. He has never logged this amount of innings.

 

Two-out runs are a huge problem for him.
