Cosart to AAA, Morse back

Featured Replies

Good. Not like it wasn't an obvious move but for a team that doesn't always make the obvious moves, I commend them for sending Cosart down right away.

Tonight Morse hit 0-for-1 with 2bb and 0k.

Thru total 12 rehab games at A, AA and AAA, he hit 10-for-38 (.263) with 1hr, 4rbi, 6bb, 17k.

Only 2 Extra base hits.

Good thing Colin Moran is proving to be a bust or else I would be really pissed off!

Good thing our FO can't draft the first round for shit

I watched none of the game.

How did we out hit then 10 to 4 and lose 7-2?

That's pretty wild.

Holy hell that was quick with Cosart. Called up barely not even a week ago, gets sent straight to the 'pen, gets his first start, gives up 7 runs and is sent down to AAA. I know Cosart can be the moody type so I hope he doesn't take the send down as an indictment on his potential. While not as high as last year, Cosart still factors into the team's future rotation.

And while Morse might suck, it's worth a shot throwing him back in the outfield now that Stanton is out. Ichiro's on a big slide and we now have a hole in LF (under this circumstance Yelich goes to CF, Ozuna to RF). Given the season's pretty lost it doesn't hurt to see if we can salvage any value in Morse while continuing to let Bour get his AB's against RHP.

Scrambles believes it is best that Cosart has been sent down to the thrice A.

Scrambles also advocates the idea of putting Morse in the outfield for a short time until Monsterdong returns.

SCRAMBLES HAS SPOKEN

Now Scrambles has to go eat another city.

Most will say last year was a fluke but I think it's fair to say he's not this bad either. There's gotta be some middle ground. At the least he's worth a major league roster spot when he's getting outs.

Staying with the hot bat plus Morse sucks

staying with the hot bat, regardless of left or right hander, bour did not start last night.
