For what it's worth, the pitching staff will take a hit with this move. Yelich's arm in CF is a downgrade and Morse in LF is just lol.

I think the MLB team is actually worse with this move. Ozuna has been sucking but it's not likely the other OF options are any better. I guess the point is to try to have him get his shit together.

I wonder if Ozuna regrets his decision to not talk about a longterm extension this past off-season. Boras'd

 

With his awful plate discipline, he and Boras have to be idiots to not consider an extension after 2014.

 

Ozuna is never going to be great. His defense is by far his best asset. He's probably going to be a .310 OBP guy, which makes his bat pretty worthless unless he's knocking 20 HR.
