April 18, 201610 yr What two players on the current roster have a direct link to the Marlins first ever draft pick? Sent from my iPhone using MarlinsBaseball.com mobile app All of them because they were all Marlins?
April 18, 201610 yr Was thinking University of Miami but I don't think we have 2 players from there right now or any.,..
April 19, 201610 yr Author All of them because they were all Marlins? I'm willing to accept this answer, it makes enough sense to me.
April 28, 201610 yr Someone else pick a question- long story short- Kevin Bacon Theory it and David Phelps and Martin Prado are part of the result for Drafting Charles Johnson. I think Direct might have been a bad word to use. Johnson for Piazza for Yarnell for Lowell for HanRam for Eovaldi for Phelps and Prado.
April 28, 201610 yr marlins had a bench clearing brawl in 1994 vs the cardinals. which marlin got plunked starting the fight? this game was on a sunday as I remember I came back from church just in time to see this happen.

What type of question is this vince? Jesus Christ. 90% of the boards membership wasn't born in 1994, and of the final 10% they were probably 3 years old. WTF VINCE! Heres a good trivia question: This Florida Marlin was "Our Guy" in April 2007 after his acquisition. Remember to answer in the form of a question. Fuck you Vince.

April 28, 201610 yr Author Hey Piazza, while he could have worded it more specifically than just saying It was sometime in 94, vinces question was better than your Kevin Bacon question. For anyone to think that's what you meant without u specifically saying it was a "this guy was traded for that guy, six degrees of separation, follow the trades, etc" is quite a stretch. No offense, just saying. Also, I thought you meant Nigel Wilson and not CJ. And 90% of us weren't born in 94? I'm now curious because that seems high. Regardless though, it's still a Marlins question so it's fine.
April 28, 201610 yr So the question is who was the Marlin who got plunked that instigated the brawl. The question is in the second line of what I wrote? I add on the rest to help my memory.

April 28, 201610 yr chucky carr nope, carr was the center fielder. @SilverBullet1929 said Sheffield, and he could have been playing 3rd there at the time so its one of the other 3 infielders. hint: he later did broadcasting for espn.
April 28, 201610 yr Author Hmm i can rattle off some potential infielders in 1994 but I can't figure out who did broadcasting.

April 28, 201610 yr Broadcaster for the Rays? Yes! His name sounds like what 30% of people living in Miami have at least happened to them once in their lives
April 28, 201610 yr Greg Colbrunn? Omg! No! Okay final hint regarding the Miami comment. His name sounds like "ARRESTED"
April 28, 201610 yr Yes! His name sounds like what 30% of people living in Miami have at least happened to them once in their lives I said it already! Arrested Disstradadada
