April 7, 201610 yr Ironic that Kolek's "arm fell off" before Rodon's did. It really is. Rodon was overused like hell at NC State (pitching as many as 140+ pitches a start), so expecting him to eventually need surgery wasn't a huge stretch. The Kolek story is just a microcosm of the entire Marlins franchise for the past six years. Go cheap, grab the wrong player and it ends up burning you. It just really really sucks.
