4/15 Postgame

sure enough, they give it up. you have them thinking they just won the freaking world series. pathetic display by all hands. narveson and morris, buh bye.

Absolute shit of a game. But before some of you come up with silliness that we need a new manager and hitting coach and that Stanton isn't trying etc... It's one game and the Braves weren't going 0-162. With that said there are things that need to be addressed and I think they're obvious. The bullpen has several names that need to be replaced and the lineup could use some tinkering.

Still don't know how our wonderful GM expects this team to win with this garbage bullpen. No disrespect to David Phelps who's done a nice job so far, but it's an absolute joke that he's any team's best middle reliever/setup guy.

And, more importantly, the two lefties in the bullpen have no business being in the major leagues.

Whatever though, Go Panthers.

Switch out ozuna with hech. Give Stanton a rest soon, maybe Sunday. Realmuto is not a good hitter, could possibly bat 8th and ozuna 7th. Narveson, Jackson, Morris: I'm tired of it.

No, sorry. When a team is 0-9 and you have any form of a lead, you close them out. You step on these teams if you expect to go deep in the season. So damn disgusting to me.

Is that Todd Dunwoody on Vince's avatar?

Lol yup.

We have had some pretty bad bullpens in years past, but I can't remember the last time we had one that was THIS bad. These guys make Renyel Pinto look like Mariano.

will Don Mattingly do some thing about weakness in bullpen we cannot go 0-4 at home bullpen need do it job

Mattingly can't do anything. He's not the one who assembles the talent. This is up to the FO. Either we need to call up some guys from the minors or make a trade. We are gonna blow A LOT of leads this season if we keep this same group of guys in the bullpen.

As I said, Marlins would be the ones to give the Braves their first win. Of course it had to be 3-0 lead up in smoke instead of the Braves just taking it.

Im glad we lost. We deserved it just like last game. Pathetic excuse for a bullpen. Chris Narveson truly has me baffled.

Fucking joke.

Why hasn't Narveson been DFA'd yet?

I don't know. I'm so damn disappointed.

Also stantons at bat in the 9th does not sit well with me as I thought he was making improvements with these pitches

He gave up in that at bat. Quite clear, unfortunately.

Goes back to saying he is not a good hitter. When making contact, yes the ball will go 900 feet. But we've been going at 6 years with the same swing and miss outside pitch. Saw the same in George springer as well. Very similar.
