April 21, 201610 yr Starting pitching is picking up. Good starts from Fernandez, Chen and Koehler in this series and Conley showed further positive signs for the majority of his start. That has been the biggest problem to this point. If the pitching continues to pick up then we will be fine IMO. The offense has had a few rough games but overall has been pretty good.
April 21, 201610 yr Didn't get a chance to watch the game, but looking at the box score it's interesting that the Marlins had a scoreless 'pen with Breslow/Barraclough/Phelps/Ramos, aka our four best relievers currently, pitching tonight. It took two stupid weeks, but the team may have finally found their bullpen. I'll also admit I was wrong on Breslow and that he was the one useful 'pen signing this year. Also good to see the team was able to put together five runs on Scherzer. That isn't going to happen all too often.

His stuff really isn't that good and I have no faith in him going forward still. bearclaw,phelps, ramos looked terrific. Scherzer was having velocity/control issues FWIW

April 22, 201610 yr Should arguably took all 3 games against Atlanta Bare minimum we should have won the series. We had a chance in every single game especially the first game. Breslow needs to just be used against LHP now that Narveson is gone and we only have one. I thought it was a great win, besides the Bryce HR we did a good job in holding them down. Gotta say that using Ichiro in short spurts seems to be doing just fine right now. Yelich is a stud with that OBP.
