If this is it definitely more of a "look! We tried" than anything else. Maybe cashner finally figures it out and we resign him. On the flip side when your team is bereft of any prospects and continually trades draft picks this is the best they can get

July 29, 20169 yr I'm thinking they're just adding depth and hoping that it works out. That's really the only reason to add Rea. "Well, if one of our starters keep sucking, at least we have Rea." Or "if Rea sucks, whatever, maybe the next guy who sucks does better."
