Posted August 28, 20168 yr Probably one of those we win with Stanton, but he's always hurt, so whatever.
August 28, 20168 yr This team loves following up big wins with duds. Clayton Richard owns them again. Missed another chance to gain on St. Louis.
August 28, 20168 yr Ozuna kinda sucks right now and Hech is fucking worthless at the plate... Cashner scratched for Nicolino...lol
August 28, 20168 yr Author Nicolino is pitching tomorrow. I forgot he was still in the organization. Unfortunately, I have to be reminded.

August 28, 20168 yr I think it's safe to say that losing a series vs Padres in Miami would be the signal.
August 28, 20168 yr Author I think it's safe to say that losing a series vs Padres in Miami would be the signal. Would signal that we're not winning 100 games this year.
August 28, 20168 yr Author Gotta be honest, if this team makes the playoffs, Mattingly should be manager of the year candidate regardless of how questionable his moves are sometimes. This team is not good (because of all the injuries). It's a lot to overcome.

August 28, 20168 yr Author They don't need to make the playoffs for him to win it. He's not going to win it either way, but I hope he gets some positive publicity if they do make it.
August 28, 20168 yr I'm guessing Joe Maddon already won the award. I think you're wrong about this but we shall see (assuming the Marlins stay in contention)

This team is not good (because of all the injuries). It's a lot to overcome. I agree. This was one of (if not) the most laughable lineup cards I've recalled seeing. Obviously not the managers fault....but oh my........ I mean think about it......The Padres are 21 games UNDER .500 and so far we've gotten shutout and mounted a miracle comeback for a 1-run win. The Marlins have to will their way to a win tomorrow and somehow try and hang on until some bodies start coming off of the DL.
August 28, 20168 yr I couldn't watch but heard ozuna lost this game. how? Marlins got a bunch of hits and all but one were..................... wait for it..................... ................ singles
August 28, 20168 yr I couldn't watch but heard ozuna lost this game. how? He left 5 on base but so did Yelich
August 28, 20168 yr Probably one of those we win with Stanton, but he's always hurt, so whatever. After another 1-0 loss, to the Padres of all teams, its hard to suppress the frustration of yet another season that is going to end up.without playoff baseball. There will not be a September run simply because this team can't score, and depends too much on other teams screwing up in the field to get by. Miracles won't happen often enough. Its upsetting because with a healthy and well performing Stanton (and Bour), this team would be good enough to make the playoffs. The pitching has actually gotten better. But whatever. And as Eric has stated, Stanton's availability can't be relied upon. Far too injury prone.
August 28, 20168 yr We are a hen house full of chicken littles which version of chicken little or this
