I love Fredi, I met him and had a good long convo with him. He's an awesome guy.

Would that be awkward to bring back Fredi as a 3rd base coach? None of the current guys on the team were around when he was managing I guess so all that matters is how Fredi would feel who once managed the club.

 

Sucks about Bonds, looked like he had a great relationship with the players. Don't think we'll ever get what went down here. Wonder if he gets hired somewhere else.

 

 

I thought bonds did a good job with the hitters this yr. Felt like there was an improvement in yelich, dietrich, realmuto, Prado and bour this yr. All hit above expectations. If players didn't like him that's fine but I heard no rumors of problems during the season and any look in the dugout made it seem he had great relationships with guys and was enjoying himself.

 

 

And Fredi is fine as a third base coach. Doesn't hurt to have a guy with a lot of experience (and a relationship with the organization). He'd be helpful but I do wish bonds was kept.

i think the Marlins front office and Loria especially garnered new found respect with how they handled Jose and everything that came with it. thats in regards to Fredi returning after a breakup with Loria.
