Shame. I don't blame the team or front office for this one but I would like to hear more on why he made this decision. This is probably gonna hurt the players more than anything since they all seemed to respond well to him and enjoyed his presence and learning from him.

Not saying they are at all related but lets also remember that our superstar had arguably his worst ever season during Bonds' year as coach.

If this was Don's choice, I will like him even less as a manager. Would rather have kept Barry than Don.

thats how i look at it..

Front office and Loria may have wanted to keep Bonds, but succumbed to Don's demand of not wanting to retain him.

@CraigMish

Stanton in particular "tuned out" BB who was openly critical of Stanton. For everyone to hear at times.

NEVER A DULL MOMENT IN MARLINS OFF-SEASON!!

Sounds like a crybaby honestly.

Remember, he has to want to re-sign.

So why used the term fire instead of him not wanting to return?

makes it sound so much worse

Why let go of Cornelius & Lenny Harris?

Does this front office just have to let go of coaches every year?
