Probably depends on what kind of pitching return Ozuna would net....I was never convinced Marlins could get that great of a SP for Ozuna anyway.

November 29, 20169 yr One thing that gets me about the Cespedes Mets thing... if I'm a Mets fan I'm pissed that Cespedes completely makes them his bitch. Last offseason Cespedes doesn't get the deal he wants so he convinces the Mets to include an opt out that everyone knew he was taking and then he takes the opt out and the Mets come running back to him and he finally gets the huge overpay he wanted. Mets FO looks like shit here.
November 29, 20169 yr I always thought that for the last 2 years Cespedes played defense like a much older guy than 31. I bet he is closer to 35 than 30. My guess is that by year 3 the Mets eat a good portion of that contract to make room for some combo of Nimmo, Lindsay, and Becerra.

Correction... Last January, Admin said Chen was talking to the Marlins but wasn't anywhere close to signing with us... literally hours later Chen signs with us. Yesterday, Admin said the Marlins were going to meet with Cespedes' agents later this week... literally hours later Cespedes re-signs with the Mets. The above statements are 100% FACTS. Conclusion: @Admin is a worthless source of information and should never be trusted.
