Yesterday, Admin said the Marlins were going to meet with Cespedes' agents later this week... literally hours later Cespedes re-signs with the Mets. The above statements are 100% FACTS. Conclusion: @Admin is a worthless source of information and should never be trusted. Why worthless ? we would have a extremely stimulating day after Admin said somebody's name,that's priceless !!

November 30, 20169 yr So does this more or less lock Ozuna in for 2017? I assuming they would only trade Ozuna if Cespedes was the other option. Without Cespedes would they consider someone else to replace Ozuna or is Ozuna staying put? I don't think if they intend to trade Ozuna and Cespedes would be the only option,everyone knows the price tag for him would be sky high so I believe if they really have a plan to trade Ozuna than Cespedes wouldn't be the only option to replace him in their minds.

November 30, 20169 yr One thing that gets me about the Cespedes Mets thing... if I'm a Mets fan I'm pissed that Cespedes completely makes them his bitch. Last offseason Cespedes doesn't get the deal he wants so he convinces the Mets to include an opt out that everyone knew he was taking and then he takes the opt out and the Mets come running back to him and he finally gets the huge overpay he wanted.
