Since June 1st they don't. That is all this thread is about. Unless you thought they'd be a playoff team this year, I don't understand your point. Considering expectations were 100 losses or more, their play since June 1st exceeds those expectations. They have shown improvement, that is all this thread means.

July 16, 20188 yr Author It helped that Maybin replaced Brinson after his "injury". Their improvement started in early June and Brinson played better in June. Also, you really think they are faking the injury? There's no benefit to doing that, he still accrues service time. They could've optioned him to AAA and gotten that benefit, if he wasn't actually hurt.

Yeah, what's the deal, I'm pretty sure Brinson is the reason we improved in June. He had a WAR of 0.7 for 30 days that isn't bad. Stop criticizing guys who are improving. As a team we were better last month which is why we have this thread. If you want to be upset be upset about things that happened in the last month, like Trevor Richards has changed the way he has pitched and it is not making him better at pitching. At least not yet.
