Barraclough

Barraclough is such a train wreck right now.  The fact that Guerra bailed him out doesn’t change that.

He needs a vacation.

Is he hiding an injury? Really makes you wonder.

Cause sure earlier in the year his velocity was down but the control was at least alright - now, not so much ...

So does this idiot manager for trotting him out there.  Let him work out out things in non crucial situations

What's really a crucial situation for a last place team though? Maybe Don is taking advantage of the fact that he does sorta have the, um, for lack of a better word, "luxury" of letting Barraclough pitch the 9th inning of games that don't really matter much in the grand scheme of things?

I dunno, just a thought I guess.

It would be really stupid to do something like that.

I think we also have the "luxury" to let him figures things out in the 7th and 8th inning.

Yes but many will swear that the 9th is different than the 7th and 8th innings in many ways and if any team can "get away" with letting Barraclough sink or swim it's the 2018 Miami Marlins.

Not that I think that will remain the case I'm just saying it may explain why Mattingly has been so persistent in leaving Kyle out there for too long.

BARRACLOUGH SHOULD BE SENT DOWN TO SINGLE A HE IS SO BAD HE CAN'T GET OUTS I CAN'T BELIEVE MATTINGLY KEEPS SENDING HIM OUT WE SHOULD DFA MATTINGLY SEND BARRACLOUGH TO SINGLE A AND LET A VETERAN PITCHER WITH EXPERIENCE BE THE CLOSER SOMEONE LIKE JAVY GUERRA OR MIKE DUNN
