May 18, 20197 yr I wish the Marlins TV announcers, Dave Van Horne and Glenn Geffner would TALK ABOUT THE GAME being played! They are really annoying! And 'yes' I do turn off the sound from time to time and just watch the game. TODAY! Lead off homerun, do they break in a pre-recorded line-up break-down and talk about the game when it starts 'NO'! The Marlins aren't a good ballclub and these guys make them TOTALLY unwatchable! JMHO.

May 18, 20197 yr I like severino and hollandsworth, our games are bad enough to watch, at least them going back and forth joking around makes it more interesting. They are not monotone and seem to enjoy their job. I think they need more love, a lot of other mlb announcers are old and have no real excitement.

Good qualities if you were hanging out with them watching a game and having some beers, but listening to them on tv can be dreadful at times
May 23, 20197 yr I can’t bear the tv announcing. Rich and Tommy made the game interesting even in an abysmal loss. These guys have to be muted during a win. I hate the way Severino feels he has to give Hollandsworth position. Makes Holly seem even more arrogant than he is. I feel like they are always shouting. Very little interesting color. They state the obvious and don’t seem very well prepared.

May 23, 20197 yr Tommy was great, for the way he said his words. But he would just say things that we know aren't true. He loved guys that'd win. He would praise guys for things they have no control over. I loved watching tommy, but I wish he could be paired with a player who is more modern thinking. Also Dave Van Horne is the best. Do not say anything bad about him. I go out of my way to listen to there broadcast even when i watch the games.

May 23, 20197 yr Todd, Blummer, and Julie as the sideline reporter are all fantastic. Truthfully I still associate him with the Rays broadcast team for now since he was their roving reporter for a number of years so it may skew my opinion of him slightly.

May 24, 20197 yr Speaking of Astros broadcasters, still miss kinda hearing the Bills call games in various capacities. Though I always thought Worrell was kinda a prick.
May 24, 20197 yr The announcers are awful. Holly: "Oh me oh my" everytime someone does anything. You forgot to add "Listen" to that sentence.
