Maybe we need the minor league game thread

Chisholm game 1, HR, 3B, 1B, 3 for 4. 2 RBI 2 runs scored. 0 k's.

What a bum

I checked out his splits. His last 10 games with the Twins were pretty bad, but overall he has had a pretty decent 2nd half. His slash line since the double A all star game is .264/.331/.472.

If Isan Diaz goes 3-4 tonight he will be hitting .305 after 100 games. I think that is grounds for a call up ahead of the game on Saturday. Would love to see Diaz's debut in person.

Did you guys know Daniel Castano has looked really good in his 7 starts in double a? He has 5 walks to 28 k's over 33 innings in that time, why aren't we talking about this guy. He is only 24. He gets a lot of ground balls. Does anyone else know anything about this guy?

Just that he was the '4th guy' in the Ozuna trade. I saw he was used as a reliever earlier this year. Nice to see him doing good in a starting role again.

What if this new regime is really really really good at judging talent? Could we be really good? Tommy Eveld was really good at double A (not so at triple a) but still very promising.

What if the organization knows who is going to be a major leaguer, and they aren't just taking random shots?

Nah, man. These are the Marlins we are talking about. They are bad at everything and all the players acquired are already busts.

You're right. I was just having a crazy thought.

Then I remembered how bad Brinson has been since the beginning of july.

TB announcers are discussing Nick Anderson like he’s the greatest setup man in history

they have to make sound like Michael Hill is dumb ass and they got a steal, but we ALL know he's a genius

He pitched again tonight. Add 7 innings, no runs, no walks, and 5 strikeouts to your count.

Yeah I'm pretty intrigued by him. I got used to him as a reliever, kinda labeled him as such in my mind. I'll deff keep an eye out every fifth game for him now. Could be a diamond in the rough future starter for the big club.

He is a control guy. 4 starts of 6 plus. 1 walk 24 k's. Right now he probably is a pitch away. But if this continues maybe not?

Is connor scott for real? Why do all of these people struggle in A ball and somehow hit high a hard (Scott, and Devers mostly)?

For one thing, Scott was on fire before he moved up. In his last 21 games he had a slash line of .353/.409/.494

We're absolutely loaded with OF talent at every level. So many possible combinations for what the future starting 3 could look like.

That's the idea. Acquire as many talented prospects as possible and hope at least a few pan out. Some won't, but hopefully a few do.

Yeah, just choosing the best three !!!

Bleday, Sanchez, Harrison, Misner, Mesa, Scott, Encarnacion, Miller, Pompey, Mesa Jr., Burdick, Brinson, Harold Ramirez, Sierra. Hell I'm probably missing some less touted ones too. I honestly find it nearly impossible that there isn't 3 high impact Major League OF within that list. And they should all be ready by 2022.
